Carmen Ferreyra
CEO & Co-Founder

Carmen is an entrepreneur with experience in start-ups: in 2015 she founded a thriving non-profit organization, the Curatorial Program for Research, with offices in Brooklyn and Copenhagen. CPR reach has spread from Brooklyn to over twenty cities around the world, from Bogotá, Colombia to Tromsø, Norway. She has directed eleven international art fairs in London, Miami and New York, supervising staff of 50+ people. Carmen holds an MA in Critical and Curatorial Studies and a BA in French and Art History (Columbia University), and two AA: Graphic Arts, and Image and Sound Design (Miami Dade College).

Fernanda Tabares
Chef & Co-Founder

Fernanda is a chef, sommelier, chocolatier and restauranteur that brings to Porteñas over 20 years of experience. She has worked as maître of the internationally renowned Los Notros Hotel near the Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia; she was the Academic Assistant Director of the Gato Dumas School, the most prestigious chef academy in Argentina; and since 2010 she has run her own restaurant, Raíces, which specializes in traditional Argentine food and has brought her national fame.


Gretel Pellegrini, PhD
COO & Co-Founder

Gretel is a dentist, a musician and an entrepreneur with experience in business: since 2004 she runs her private practice office in Buenos Aires. A recent Brooklyn transplant, Gretel expertise runs from lab research at IUPUI, to dental bone graft development for the FDA. On-stage, she has founded the Classical Orchestra of the University of Buenos Aires, School of Dentistry, while rocking with the Kumbia Queers throughout Latin America. Currently at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Gretel is a woman of many hats, that brings to Porteñas a unique creative spirit that will position Porteñas as a top destination in Brooklyn.
